The Challenge
Users wanted a personal finance app that doesn't require account creation or cloud sync — complete privacy with all data stored locally. Supporting offline-first data with reliable backup/restore was the primary technical challenge.
Our Solution
The app uses Hive (NoSQL local database) for fast, offline-first data storage with zero internet dependency. Local encryption protects sensitive financial data. A ZIP-based backup/restore system lets users move data between devices without any cloud dependency.
