QA Intern

NepTechPal is looking for a QA Intern to join our Pokhara team and help us ship web and mobile products that actually hold up in the real world. You will sit with the developers, break things on purpose, and learn how quality is built into a product rather than bolted on at the end.

What you will do Write and execute manual test cases for web apps, mobile apps and client websites Do functional, regression, cross-browser and responsive testing before each release Log clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs actual behaviour and evidence Verify fixes and keep the bug tracker honest and up to date Help maintain test checklists and release sign-off documents Assist with basic API testing using Postman Get exposure to automated testing and to performance and accessibility checks What we are looking for Running or recently completed a Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field Genuine attention to detail — you notice the one pixel and the one edge case that are wrong Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and of what QA is for Comfortable with web technologies (HTML, CSS) and reading a little code Clear written English — a bug report is a piece of writing Curiosity, patience and the willingness to ask "but what if the user does this?"
